Maria H. Casey
Maria H. Casey entered the field of leadership by happenstance. The oldest of three girls, Maria was the in-house guinea pig, go-to babysitter, and “responsible one.” Surrounded by amazing leaders (an architect dad, accomplished aunts and uncles and loving grandparents) and a working English-professor mom, the values of leadership, education, work, balance, and family were instilled at an early age.
The helping profession called out to Maria at an early age as well. With sisters and cousins abound, the job of mother’s helper eventually led to later accomplishments of a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Adelphi University, a Master of Science degree in counseling from Long Island University, and a personal coaching certificate from New York University.
Maria’s professional experience has been in working with passionate people working to make a positive impact on their communities. From training, writing, and coaching, to non-profit work, Maria is committed to motivating people to find their own unique version of success.
Maria lives in Port Washington, New York, with her husband (and another amazing leader), Michael, and her daughter, Courtney, who daily inspires love, laughter, and gratitude.
